SEBI directs exchanges to list illiquid securities; cautions trading members
The Securities and Exchange Board of India has directed the stock exchanges to draw up a list of illiquid securities, a circular on the National Stock exchange said. In December, the exchange has identified 397 shares that fall in the category and will review the list on a monthly basis, it said. "Trading members are advised to exercise additional due diligence while trading in these securities either on own account or on behalf of their clients," NSE added.
