SEBI imposes Rs. 5 cr. fine on Mehul Choksi, others The SEBI on Thursday slapped a fine of Rs. 50000000 on fugitive Mehul Choksi, Gitanjali Gems and other individuals for violating various regulations and failing to make requisite disclosures, in the massive fraud on the state-run lender Punjab National Bank. Choksi is the promoter and managing director of Gitanjali Gems.PTI
