Apex court directs Sahara to approach SAT

The Supreme Court on Friday directed Sahara India Real Estate Corp to approach the Securities Appellate Tribunal against market regulator SEBI, which asked it to return within three weeks the money raised from investors through an OFCD scheme. A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice S. H. Kapadia, also directed SAT to decide the Sahara Group company's appeal against SEBI within eight weeks and asked it not to take any adjournments. — PTI
