SEBI slaps penalty on Ispat Industries

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has imposed a penalty of Rs. 100000 on Ispat Industries for violating the Listing Agreements and Regulations. It had earlier alleged that Ispat communicated some price sensitive information to a private TV channel before furnishing the same with the stock exchanges.
