SEBI imposes penalty on Karvy

The Securities and Exchange Board of India on Friday imposed a penalty of Rs. 200000 on Karvy Stock Broking Limited for violating directions issued by the regulator. SEBI issued this order under Sec. 15-1 read with Sect.15C and 15 HB of the SEBI Act 1992 and Rule 5 of the Adjudication Rules.
