SEBI debars nine CIS entities

MUMBAI NOV. 22. The Securities and Exchange Board of India has debarred nine collective investment scheme entities and their officials concerned from operating in the capital market and from accessing it for a period of five years. These CIS entities have failed to comply with the earlier order of the market regulator directing them to refund the money collected by them with returns which is due to the investors as per the terms of the offer within a month from the date of the order, SEBI said in a release here today. The entities are Bethel Green Growth, Cuttack, Chotanagpur Herbal Agro, Rajgangpur, both of Orissa, Greenage Agrotech of Kolkata, Integrated Agro Farms and Exports of Bhabua in Bihar, Beauty Farms and Resorts, Beauty Gardens and Resorts, Merry Beach Farms, Beauty Green Farms and Beauty Paradise Resorts, all of Chennai, the release said. — PTI
